Personal Data Protection Notice
Eostre respects and is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your Personal Data. This Personal Data Protection Notice (“Notice”) is issued pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”) of Malaysia.
This Notice explains how we collect, process, use, disclose, store and protect your Personal Data in connection with your direct selling transactions and any other dealings with Eostre.
By providing your Personal Data to us, you consent to the processing of your Personal Data in accordance with this Notice.
1. PERSONAL DATA
“Personal Data” refers to any information that relates directly or indirectly to you and from which you may be identified. Eostre may collect and process Personal Data including but not limited to:
- Name
- Age, gender, date of birth, Malaysia Identity card number, passport number (if applicable)
- Race, nationality, religion
- Contact information (address, telephone number, fax number, email address)
- Marital status, family details (children and spouse’s details)
- Photographs provided to Eostre and/or taken during official company functions or events
- Credit card and/or debit card details
- Bank account particulars
- Co-applicant name (where applicable)
- Corporate documents (e.g. Memorandum and Articles of Association, Forms 24, 49, A, D, relevant business licences)
- Username and password for Eostre’s website or digital platforms.
Personal Data may be collected from various sources, including but not limited to:
- Information, comments or messages provided by you through any means
- Information submitted through online platforms or digital facilities
- Information obtained from lawful third-party sources
- Information generated through your participation in Eostre’s programmes, events, promotions or digital platforms
2. USAGE OF DATA
Eostre processes your Personal Data for purposes including but not limited to:
- Administration of direct selling transactions
- Disbursement of commissions, bonuses and incentives
- Recognition programmes and achievement announcements
- Publishing of articles, promotional materials, newsletters, magazines (print or electronic), including social media and digital platforms
- Marketing, advertising and promotion of products and services
- Processing invoices and payments (including electronic and card payments)
- Research, analytics, product development and business planning
- Operation, administration, record-keeping and contractual enforcement
- Compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Fraud prevention, investigation and risk management
- Responding to legal claims or legal process
- Disclosure in connection with mergers, acquisitions, restructuring or business transfers
- Engagement of service providers and third parties to perform services on our behalf
- Audit, compliance checks and internal governance
- Enforcement of Eostre’s contractual and legal rights
- Communication with you via telephone, email, messaging platforms, post, facsimile, social media or other available means
Eostre may utilise digital tools, automated systems, data analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to:
- Improve operational efficiency
- Analyse sales performance and business trends
- Enhance customer and distributor experience
- Automate communications and administrative processes
- Detect fraud or unusual activity
- Support marketing and product recommendations
Where AI or automated systems are used, such processing shall be conducted in compliance with applicable laws and shall not be used in a manner that unlawfully infringes your rights.
3. DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Eostre will keep your Personal Data confidential and will not be disclosed for any purpose other than the purpose for which the personal data was collected at the time of collection. However, on certain circumstances, your Personal Data may be disclosed to any other parties as stated or required by the Act or law governing Malaysia.
4. SECURITY
Eostre shall take reasonable and practical steps to safeguard your Personal Data against loss, misuse, modification, unauthorised or accidental access or disclosure, alteration or destruction. Appropriate technical and organisational security measures shall be implemented to ensure the protection of your Personal Data.
5. RETENTION OF DATA
The Personal Data processed shall not be kept longer than is necessary after termination of contract / agreement between yourself and Eostre shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that all personal data is destroyed or permanently deleted if it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was to be processed.
6. TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL DATA
Due to the global nature of Eostre’s business, Eostre may transfer your Personal Data to the other affiliated Eostre companies (which may be located in other countries) or to any parties located in other countries (including countries that have a different data protection regime than is found in the country where you are based). By providing your Personal Data, you expressly consent to such cross-border transfers.
7. ACCESS AND CORRECTION TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA
You have the right to request access to and correction of your Personal Data, subject to applicable legal limitations. Any request may be made in writing to:

Eostre reserves the right to impose a reasonable administrative fee for processing access requests as permitted under the PDPA.
8. PERSONAL DATA GIVEN BY YOU
Where you provide Personal Data of other individuals or entities, you warrant and represent that You have obtained their consent and You are authorised to disclose their Personal Data to Eostre for the purposes set out in this Notice.
9. CHANGES TO PRIVACY NOTICE
Eostre reserves the right to amend, update or modify this Notice at any time. Any changes shall be published on Eostre’s website or communicated through appropriate channels.
